We are QED.
Quod erat demonstrandum.
QED comes from quod erat demonstrandum, a phrase used at the end of a proof. It means: this is what needed to be shown. We liked that, not because it sounds clever, but because it describes how we work.
Proof matters. Clarity matters.
Our story
QED started as a small engineering team with a simple frustration. Too many important technical decisions were being made without enough clarity, ownership, or grounding in reality.

As systems scaled, problems became more complex. Delivery accelerated, but decision-making often lagged behind. We evolved not into a larger delivery organisation, but into an engineering-led AI and data company focused on diagnosing systems before building them.
Because once systems reach a certain scale, how decisions are made matters as much as how code is written.
What we believe
Brilliantly Human. Frontier-Focused.
Before prescribing solutions, we diagnose systems, data, incentives, and constraints. Not to slow teams down, but to reduce long-term uncertainty.
We Stay Curious
Curiosity keeps systems honest.
We challenge assumptions and learn continuously as systems scale.
Own the Outcome
We take responsibility from first decision to production. No shortcuts. No handoffs. Systems must work in the real world.
Clarity is Kind
Clear thinking leads to better decisions.
We surface assumptions, prioritise facts, and make trade-offs explicit.
We over Me
Strong systems matter more than individual heroics. We build with shared ownership, trust, and long-term accountability.
Measured over time. Grounded in reality.
We're growing

The people behind the systems

We work differently.
We stay close to the work.
We take responsibility for decisions, not just output.
We build systems that must survive real-world constraints.
